Training
I trained at the University of Oxford and subsequently across West London, working in centres of excellence such as the Royal Brompton Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. I am therefore very familiar with the healthcare landscape in this area.
NHS work
I am a full-time NHS consultant at St Mary's Hospital, a busy central London hospital that is part of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. I look after patients with respiratory and general medical conditions, including acute admissions when on-call. I am part of the Lung Cancer multi-disciplinary team, which helps guide the diagnosis and treatment of patients with suspected or proven lung cancer. I perform bronchoscopies and EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound), key diagnostic procedures.
